i'm 17 and i recently started shaving it all off. i used to just trim it a little before. i think most of my friends do it so i'm pretty sure it's normal. who else does? and how do i help razor burn and ingrown hair.

I started doing it when I was 11. Lol. My sister told me that when I got my period, it'd be less messy so I did it. To avoid razor burn and ingrown hair you do the opposite of how you shave your legs. You shave your legs in the opposite direction the hair is growing, but for your pubic area to avoid the razor burn and bumps and everything shave downward in the direction the hair is growing.

For hygiene purpose, the public hair shd be keep short or maybe all off. But pls dun shave, the hair and grow to be thicker. Sometime shaving will irrate your sensitive skin. Waxing might be a better choice

Me too, I've shaved a few times, but the razor bumps and itch is so awful. There is this product that a friend let me borrow: "magic touch" and it's not too expensive. It basically shaves down there, but unlike a bare razor against the skin, and so you get no razor bumps or pain. Or you could just trim it mostly off.Or get a Brazilian wax...I know how painful that could be, but I've always liked to challenge myself. For the itch and pain of razor bumps,in the past, I've put aloe vera gel and honey all over the vulva, or shaved area.I don't know about ingrown hair, I've never had that.

PS. I don't recommend baby oil...that is mineral oil, which clogs the pores, and is bad for the skin in the long run: check out the site I found that explains what I have learned by experience.

dun burn ur pubic hair. u may accidentally burn ur....... jus sahve it off wen eva it grows out. i normally do tat. unless ur not lazy. shave every 2 weeks or so.
