Embarrassing ingrowing hair problem?

Whenever I shave the hairs from my bikini line or my pubic hair, then the hair immediately becomes ingrown and I get small red bumps in the areas where I've shaved. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

i have (had) the same problem for years. i have to shave 2 times a day in the summer; once in the a.m and if i will be showing any leg in the p.m i have to do it again because it grows SO fast.

now i wax 2 times a week.

Make sure the area is wet and cover in conditioner or shaving lotion. Use a clean new razor and shave with the hair growth. It is usually easiest to do while sitting down in the tub. Also, go slowly. If you are still having problems, try using Stridex pads or someother acne treatment over the area just after you shave.
