What to do about ingrow hairs in pubic place?

I get ingrown hair around my pubic area when I shave and sometimes I cant wear a bathing suit because it shows.

I've been having this problem for years...how can I get rid of them or change my situation?

HELP PLEASE!!!

Waxing or laser hair removal will give you "zero" ingrowns. I highly recommend that you stop shaving and at least get your bikini line waxed.

I had the same prob, but went to waxing %26amp; laser hair removal, now I don't have any ingrown issues.

The razor is the biggest cause of ingrowns. I've read that exfoliation is helpful, but it only made the area more irritated, it didn't work. I've tried it all, super hot water, shaving in the direction of hair growth, bikini line cremes, etc.

Wax, you've got nothing to lose..it's really not that bad. Your hair will also grow back much finer and softer.

If you wear trunks, shouldn't be a problem...:/

Make sure you shave in the shower/bathtub after your hair has become soft. Shave in the direction as the hair grows, not against the grain for down there.

After, apply moisturizer and a cold compress to shrink the cappilaries.

If its a really chronic problem, get a good product like BikiniZone cream. It is made especially for razor burn/ingrowns. Good Luck!

Exfoliate

Use a gentile exfoliant every day to remove built up dead skin cells that can clog the surface of your skin and trap hair, causing it to become ingrown. Exfoliating pads, loofahs, and mild scrubs work well. Look for cleansers that contain Salicylic acid.

Witch Hazel is a fantastic remedy !!! But only apply as needed.

For razor burn and razor bumps, pat the effected area with apple cidar vinegar.

Simply put aloe vera on the effected area. This also helps with razor bumps.

Baby rash cream works wonders. After u shave rub some on.
