Do you have to open up the bumps to get ingrown hairs out or is their another way to ger rid of razo

I've got some bad razor burn before. I've found that the best thing to do is to make sure the skin is good an wet. If you can soak in a tub before you shave, do it. Or shave after a hot shower while the skin is soft. In the shower, exfoliate the area. Use a scrub cloth to scrub away as much loose and dead skin away. If you've already got shave bumps this will help the ingrown hairs come loose as well. Use a shave lotion designed for "intimate areas". I use a special shave lotion designed for shaving down there on my legs and armpits because it's a lot less irritating and it conditions the skin as well. I get it at www.lovepotions.com. After shaving, exfoliate the area once more to get more loose skin or whatever off that area. Dry it and immedietly apply a lotion to the area. If it's your face, go with a light unscented lotion. If it's another intimate area, go with something like cocoa butter. The thicker the better. It will help keep the skin moist. You have to shave this area every single day or at least every other day. You have to break in that area and if you're always exfoliating and shaving, the skin will get easier and easier to shave.
