7 months ago I began having european brazilian waxes and now have serious ingrown hair problems. I'm exfoliating as well as using Tend Skin, however have now purchased Prince Reigns to help with the ingrown hairs and blemishes. Has anyone had this problem and were you able to get rid of the blemishes? If so, what products were you using?

Tend skin sucks butt. I work in a spa that sells it, it's useless and it BURNSSS..OH does it burn!!!!!!!!!!! This is what you do. It's safe to do now, but typically in the future, wait 3 days after a waxing and use SUGAR! Good old fashioned sugar. You work it on and around your bikini area as an exfoliant, every other day, as long as you get waxing done. I am so envious of girls that don't have ingrowns, but me, myself? I look like a lepar with chicken pox if I don't do that. There is also baking soda for people with more sensitive skin, but the sugar is your best bet. Don't ever pick or pop them, it spreads if you do, like acne and if you get a bad one, get to a esto ( the people that wax you, do facials, etc) and have them lance it, it's painless. K? Good Luck.

Don't use soap down there either or a loofah! Neither are good for your sensitive area and the best thing to do is to use your hand or a soft cloth with warm water. The soap will dry that skin out and cause more ingrowns, keeping it moisturized is best. Report It

They have special lotion for that I saw 2 days ago at CVS. Its made espically for that. You should check that out.

I had those ingrown hair problems as well. I just left it alone for a little bit (like 2 weeks) and put lotion on it (non-scented for skin reasons) and it went away on its own.

You get ingrown hair because the epidermical layer of skin is too thick and clogs the hair follicle. So exfoliating is a good idea. However, it won楹搕 always work on everybody, and given that this area is mostly sensitive you can楹搕 use a harsher product or you risk some major irritation (unlike ingrown hair on men楹搒 faces, for instance, they can use harsher products like a mild acid). If you want to forgo this problem altogether, I楹揹 suggest to change method: laser is an excellent solution though very pricey. Cream depilatories can also irrirtate the area so apply with utter care. Or, keep exfoliating and try cold wax that won楹搕 cause capilaries to break, with the risk of skin discoloration. Good luck.

I have the same problem and the dermatologist recommended me a bleaching cream and peeling cream, they were working. however, when I went for general check up, I was told that the didn't go away because I was deficient in certain vitamins...so check with your doctor.
